Short report on the Islamophobia debate

Garden of Knowledge Malta Association is honored to thank the audience for their presence and active participation during the debate on Islamophobia.
Special thanks to the speakers – The Chair Person Mrs Faten Osman , Prof. Yosanne Vella, The President of The Ahmadiyya Community Malta Mr Laiq Ahmed Atif, Mr Victor Degiovanni Secretary of the Maltese Communist Party and Prof. Deepa Kumar for their presentations which highlighted different aspects and angle of view on Islamophobia and how to tackle it (fight against capitalism and Western imperialism in the Arab homeland and the plunder of the resources, the importance of education through history teaching and push back disinformation , the honesty of the person through Islam and a non Political Islam….).
We are very happy and pleased that the topic of Islamophobia brought together different nationalities (from Libya, Colombia, Sudan, France, Russia, Italy, Germany, Malta, Syria, Czech republic, etc …) special thanks to The Ambassador of Egypt H.E Mrs Magda Baraka and the First Secretary of their presence, and Mrs Dounia Borg from the Moroccan community even if her presence was very short.
The association hopes that this initiative will give you ideas to promote further actions and thus combat discrimination and racism in Malta and in Europe. Thank you all.
